Now you can't say I don't think of other people. One of the major changes is the ease at which migration from alternative video embedding plugins can be achieved.

To this end I've started a new page on my site which will document that ways in which you can move from one plugin to mine. The list is growing - I have over 40 that I'm looking at.

Of course, this only related to version 2 of this plugin, but it gives you a fair idea of what's coming (including the ability to specify your own shortcodes and assign them different profiles).

Sometimes it seems to be a never ending goal... as soon as I'm nearing completion I decide on something else

After reviewing other plugins recently I've decided (after first deciding not to) to implement video site maps.

Tonight, after randomly coming across someone talking about drop shadows on video output, I've implemented that too - you can now specify a height and a drop shadow below the video will appear. It looks nice. However, you can turn it off!

Ok. A bit of a hold up as I had to make some last minute changes here and there. But, bar the widgets, it's now done. I hope.

I'm completing the completely re-written README now and proof-reading it through. I want it to be thorough but without blasting the reader with too much information.

Meantime, when did Google add ANOTHER parameter to the player? modestbranding takes the YouTube branding off the playback - can't imagine why anybody would want to leave this on, so I've turned this on, with no option to switch off.

Once the README is done, I'll tackle the widgets (yea, I know, bizarre order of work) and the whole caboodle should be done.

All coding is complete and testing has commenced.

Upgrading from 1.5 to 2.0 has been tested and the transfer of options works as expected!

Easier than I thought - a very quick fix. Now video lists are 100% again.
