MD5 Hash

Ok. A bit of a simple one, but useful none-the-less. Enter a string of letters, numbers, whatever, and the MD5 hash will be returned.

      Abdo,

If only it was that simple. Actually, no, it’s a good job it’s not that simple otherwise MD5 wouldn’t be a good encryption system.

As with all encryption types, MD5 needs a “key”. Without the key you can’t decrypt it (without a lot of brute force, involving lots of powerful computers and a lot of time).

There’s a useful article on it on Wikipedia, which also includes weaknesses that can be exploited. If you Google you might find software that can do what you want, but I’ve not tried any so I don’t know how good or quick it is.
