I just opened my wheelie bin and a wasp flew out. What kind of sick person would throw a wasp in a bin?

And everything is pretty much organised for my wedding.
Jennie has lots of stuff to do during the final week (she’s off work and staying at her mums) to get the hall ready, but otherwise it’s all organised, paid for and generally sorted. The DJ has his list of songs, the caterer has a final menu, the bar has been fully paid, etc, etc. We’ve even received some of our wedding presents.
Tomorrow, I (the groom) commence my 4 days of the Stag Weekend. I have no idea where I’m going other than the fact it’s this country. My beer is ready. Expect me to turn up at the wedding with one eyebrow missing.

..until my wedding. and lots has been done..
- RSVP reminders sent out, but most have been returned. We even have a table plan!
- The caterers have been sorted with details. As well as a defined menu, they’ll also provide tables and chairs.
- We’re in the process of paying the final amount for the bar.
- The bride and groom have been sampling alcohol to decide what to supply. Hic.
All, so far is going well. We also have out first “Wedding Preparation Meeting” with the minister this weekend.

Now, you wouldn’t think a cake stand would be such an issue, would you? They generally cost about £20 to hire (with anything up to £75 refundable deposit) – the issue is getting them back. So we’ve tasked the brides mother to try and sort that one out – at least the place of hire will then be close to the venue and therefore easier to return. Hmmm.
We’ve decided on an order of service and I’ve even knocked up a design for one. We just need to confirm the final details with the minster.
Speaking of whom, we’ve spoken to the minster and arranged a rehearsal, plus various “meetings” we have to attend. It means a number of weekends of driving to Hull and back (wasn’t that a song by The Darkness?) for a couple of hours.
Ooo, and did I say we had a meeting at Christmas to organise the choir and the songs they’ll sing? No, well I have now. What they’ll be is… a surprise. But who’d have thought they knew the works of The Prodigy?
